The history of MAÇAIX begins at Praia do Rosa (SC), when Ane and Marco, a couple of executives from Porto Alegre (RS), along with their children Tomaz and Tiago, decide to change their lives in search of more quality.

 

Over the past 5 years the family has traveled the world in search of new cultures and inspiration for a new project. In the Amazon, the eye sparkled when knowing the legend of "Iaçã", which tells the story of Açaí, and in Australia and New Zealand they found a new way of serving and treating the Brazilian fruit.

 

 

Upon returning to southern Brazil, they decided that they needed to show the world the real Açaí: "People have to know Açaí in its purest form. They need to know where this fruit comes from, what is the concentration of pulp and how much time is processed, they need to understand that not all the acai berry we find on the market is healthy as we believe it to be." And from this will, MAÇAIX was born, an entrepreneurship network focused on healthy eating, which values sustainability and transparency in the production chain and serves the highest quality Açaí on the market, in addition to superfoods and functional recipes developed by experts, who can be found in our stores or in our micro-distribution network.
